"This science series for beginner readers in Spanish explains six different cycles in nature. Each book's narration explains in simple terms why the seasons change, why it rains and snows, why we have day and night, animals that hibernate or migrate, and the phases of the moon. Young children will be attracted to the colorful photographs that enhance the large text. Some of the vocabulary may be too difficult for some primary readers in Spanish and there is no English. However, new vocabulary words in bold are defined in the glossary. There is also a website to download free educational resources. Each book ends with a Facts and Learn More section."
