Magic is evil, and the strongest power in the world: Bree Fairfax, a young researcher and blossoming revolutionary, knows that much. That's why her work studying the time before magic thrust the world into a second dark age is so important, even as her politically radical friends insist that revolution is at the door.

But all her ideals are tested when she falls for Nicholas, a prince exiled from the Nerean Empire of the Sorcerers; and soon it's her courage that is tested when, fleeing bloodshed and heartbreak, she meets Phoenix, a doomed but brilliant prophet who convinces her to join him on a deadly mission of vengeance into the heart of the empire itself.

Masked balls, crumbling ruins, and unthinkable curses haunt the lush, dark world of City of Sorcerers, in the story of a passionate and all-too-fallible young woman determined to find the truth at any cost.

A Canticle for Leibowitz meets Six of Crows in a world that was like ours before magic, a malevolent, entropic force that requires the sacrifice of life, thrust it into a second dark age. Blood-soaked, introspective, and romantic, City of Sorcerers is perfect for fans of V.E. Schwab, M.L. Wang and Leigh Bardugo. Appropriate for older teens and adults.

The ebook and paperback for City of Sorcerers launch September 1. Marketing is primarily through TikTok and Goodreads.
