This book is a thriller about an atheist who nearly loses his life several times, only to have a supernatural encounter that changes everything.
"Rockin" Rick Bell was born to an unwed mother and placed in a chaotic, alcoholic home by the Catholic Church. By the time he was old enough to serve as an altar boy, Rick had become an atheist, believing God was no different than Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy.
By age 21, Rick taught karate and played guitar in popular area bands. His friends were prostitutes, drug dealers, and Mafia associates. His roommate was a Jewel Thief and part-time Hitman for the Mob.
Feelings of rejection drove Rick to overachieve at everything, yet still feel empty inside. Earning a 7th Degree Black Belt in Karate and becoming a Kickboxing Champion led to his career as a decorated Police Officer. Along the way, he worked as a movie stuntman, a bodyguard, a writer, and a few other things you’ll read about in this book.
One day, Rick was ambushed by a white light that revealed he had spent his entire life boxing against invisible demonic forces that kept him feeling worthless and unloved. Rick soon realized he had been boxing blindfolded with demons.
