概要

In Bound by the Glow, Earth faces an escalating threat as alien microbes from a newly mined asteroid mutate into two deadly insect species, the "Green Glowers" and "Red Glowers," which spread across the planet, battling for dominance. These glowing, venomous creatures not only wage their own war, but take control of human hosts, sparking a brutal conflict that divides humanity and plunges society into chaos.

Amid this apocalyptic turmoil, two young men, Skyler McDermott and Finn Gallagher, embark on personal yet intertwined journeys of survival and self-discovery. Skyler, haunted by his brother’s death and estranged from a fractured family, isolates himself in Frazier Park, preparing for an escape to the lunar mining outpost where he believes answers about his brother’s last days might lie. But when the Glow's alien threat reaches him, Skyler is forced to confront his past and search for a new kind of strength.

Finn, an idealistic botany enthusiast from Montana, is trapped in an emotionally fraught relationship with his controlling boyfriend, Cole, who prioritizes his own needs above Finn’s safety. As the Glow spreads, Finn finds himself pulled into a fight for survival that challenges his romanticized ideals and pushes him toward true independence. When Finn and Skyler’s paths converge, they form a bond that transcends the bleakness around them, learning to balance courage and vulnerability as they search for sanctuary—and each other—in a world that may soon fall to alien invaders.

With alternating perspectives, Bound by the Glow is a fast-paced blend of sci-fi, survival, and romance that explores resilience, the power of connection, and the struggle to redefine oneself when society itself is coming undone.
