Born of Water is a raw and reflective collection about becoming human through vulnerability. Across essays, poems, and journal entries, Andrew Osei explores tears, time, darkness and light, fatherhood, mental struggle, faith, resilience, and grace. The work begins with the idea that crying is the first human language and develops into a meditation on healing, identity, and the courage to feel deeply.

The pieces move between personal confession, social commentary, spiritual reflection, and poetic self-examination. Fast Forward Past the Future wrestles with time and presence, Free the Genesis reflects on light emerging from darkness, Life: A Duology moves from tragedy toward gratitude, and The Hood Mentality confronts fatherhood, environment, stereotypes, and inherited pain.

At its heart, Born of Water is not simply about emotion. It is about the cleansing force of honesty. It asks the listener to consider whether strength is found in control, or in the courage to surrender, cry, learn, forgive, and begin again.
