概要
Jase Stewart is the Omega of the Black Bear of Independence Clan in Colorado. He has incredible compassion for people. He is such an expert in interpreting this unconscious language of the emotions that he is often able to divine the very thoughts of his clanmates.
Libby Hoffman is a Seer. Through her supernatural insight, she can see what the future holds. After years of her clanmates abusing her powers, she moved from her old clan in San Francisco to the Hurst clan in Estes Park, Colorado.
After a few months living with her new clan, Libby had a vision. War was coming to the Black Bears clan in Independence.

The most troublesome future Libby saw for Jase was him dying trying to protect her because they are mates. Libby has the ability to mask her scent so that Jase can’t sense that they are mates.
War has come to the Black Bears of Independence. The secret of shifters has been revealed. Will Jase finally scent that Libby is his true mate? Will Pickens and his militia be defeated? Now that shifters are known to humans, what will happen?
