RHLSTP Book Club #200 - Moreish - Rich has been reading the memoir of Superhans from Peep Show, though is unable to chat with the man himself, so instead talks to actor and stand-up Matt King. Matt talks about his terrifying year after a stroke in April, some of his other acting work, including a major role in a show that didn’t happen and why he decided to return to the character of Superhans and overcame the hurdles that allowed him to write this book. They chat about how much he become the character as he writes, why he wanted to give the character some depth (as well as explore the hilarious way Superhans brain works), how much of a challenge the audio book was and how the last eighth of the book had to be written post-stroke. Plus the autobiography and more Superhans books to come. A really fascinating and inspiring conversation.
