In the coming religious delusion, the truth will be denied by the masses. In its place will be substituted a counterfeit as old as time, which is Satan’s version of the gospel. That version sees Jesus as a role model to be emulated and as a just Judge rewarding good performers for their loyalty. But the true Christ of the scriptures is not just a role model, He is our payment and the cause of our good works. In this way He is shown to be merciful, and salvation is a gift for His glory.
