Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens features TWO receiving statistics that could determine Sunday's AFC showdown! Zay Flowers is among the NFL's best at creating separation, while Mark Andrews leads qualifying tight ends in drop rate.

Can Jim Leonhard's defense contain Lamar Jackson's biggest receiving threats?

On Bills HIT, we break down two critical matchups as Buffalo returns from its bye week looking for its sixth victory.

ZAY FLOWERS IS A MAJOR THREAT

According to Fantasy Points Data, Flowers is tied with Garrett Wilson for the NFL's highest average separation score through seven weeks at 0.214.

Flowers has recorded 40 receptions for 608 yards, including an eight-catch, 137-yard performance against Cincinnati featuring a 48-yard touchdown.

Even more concerning for Buffalo? NFL Next Gen Stats credits Flowers with 224 receiving yards against linebackers this season.

Baltimore can move Flowers around the formation, use motion and create mismatches that challenge Buffalo's coverage assignments.

Should Christian Benford shadow Flowers? Can Leonhard prevent another costly communication breakdown?

MARK ANDREWS' DROP PROBLEM

According to TruMedia data cited by Pro Football Network, Andrews leads tight ends with at least 20 targets with a 10.8% drop rate.

Bills fans remember his costly mistakes in Baltimore's 27-25 playoff loss to Buffalo.

Andrews dropped a potential game-tying two-point conversion and lost a fumble forced by Terrel Bernard.

But Buffalo cannot assume those mistakes will happen again.

Andrews remains a dangerous weapon, particularly on critical downs.

Can the Bills force difficult catches in traffic and prevent Baltimore from controlling the game through its passing attack?

With Lamar Jackson returning and Buffalo's secondary facing major questions, Sunday's matchup will test whether the Bills made the necessary defensive adjustments during their bye week.
