Darian DeVries just revealed Indiana Basketball's biggest improvement heading into the 2026-27 season, and the numbers are remarkable.

During three exhibition games, Indiana posted a 40% offensive rebounding rate and a 79% defensive rebounding rate, according to DeVries. Using last season's national benchmarks, those numbers would have ranked approximately third and first in college basketball.

That's a dramatic change from last season, when Indiana struggled on the glass and ranked 176th nationally in total rebounding and 306th in offensive rebounding.
