Theme: Forgiveness Is For You
Scripture: Matthew 18:21-35
Series: Unexpected Truths
Pastor Caleb King

ABOUT THIS MESSAGE:
Sometimes what Jesus says can rile up our emotions. It’s easy to scoff at a man who had so much debt forgiven but was unwilling to forgive so little. But Jesus’ words are meant to make us recognize ourselves in the unmerciful man. If we want to judge others while withholding forgiveness, God can certainly do the same for us. Instead, God calls us to wrap our hearts around what our head already knows: God’s boundless, free, and loving forgiveness based on the sacrifice of Jesus. As a group of forgiven sinners, our prayer is that we would forgive just as God has forgiven us.
