This episode of the podcast features Johnny “Juice” Rosado who rose from the Bronx to perform and record with legendary rap group Public Enemy among other creative projects. Johnny has a unique perspective from the scene he came up in as rap and hip hop music blossomed from the roots. He is an award-winning and Emmy and NAACP Image Nominated Composer, Producer, Turntablist, Engineer, Musician, B-boy, Graf writer, MC, Educator, Lecturer, and Mentor. We also discussed Nuyorican culture in NYC, which is a major thread intertwining with this revolutionary music going back to the Last Poets and continuing today. I hope you enjoy this wide-ranging conversation and help spread the word out there! The full audio interview is available on Spotify, YouTube and Apple or wherever else you listen to podcasts.
