Nigel Daw from the South Australian Aviation Museum at Port Adelaide joins Jeremy Cordeaux to preview the museum's family engine run and open cockpit day on Sunday 25 October, with historic engines fired up on stands and visitors invited into the cockpits of the F-111, DC3, Fokker F27 and more.
Nigel also reveals a Bristol Freighter is on its way from Point Cook, and he and Jeremy trade stories of South Australian aviation history, from Dame Nancy Buttfield's DC3 in a paddock near Chain of Ponds to the Vickers Vimy that Jeremy thinks Adelaide Airport is hiding.
This interview aired live on The Court of Public Opinion on Friday 16 October 2026.
