A federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to continue allowing reporters from CNN, MS NOW, and Politico to enter the White House grounds while their lawsuit proceeds. Judge Timothy Kelly ruled that the news organizations are likely to succeed in claims that the administration violated their due process and First Amendment rights by revoking their press credentials. The order preserves access for now, but it does not guarantee access to every location, including the Oval Office or Air Force One. The ruling follows a dispute that began after President Donald Trump moved to bar the organizations over what he described as inaccurate and unfair coverage. The White House has continued restricting some assignments involving the outlets despite earlier court orders restoring their credentials. New White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia is also facing scrutiny after her first briefing. Reports describe a brief and difficult debut, during which she answered only a few questions. Questions have also been raised about her professional background and legal credentials. Zacharia replaced Karoline Leavitt, who left the position in August. During that briefing, Zacharia discussed proposed South Korean investments in the United States, including energy projects in Alaska and Texas. South Korean officials have indicated that only the Texas project has been finalized, while the commercial feasibility of the Alaska natural gas project remains under review. The White House also announced that President Trump requested the resignation of United States Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle amid allegations of improper conduct. No final determination of wrongdoing was reported. Overseas, the administration is facing pressure over the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian officials say Russia launched a major overnight attack against energy infrastructure, despite President Trump’s proposed ceasefire covering energy facilities. The White House has not publicly confirmed whether intelligence sharing with Ukraine has been reduced. That is the White House Daily Briefing for today. Thank you for tuning in.
