Working the LAPD robbery detail in Los Angeles, Friday and Romero investigate a series of armed holdups targeting major jewelry stores. The case becomes especially difficult when Friday discovers a personal connection to Max Tyler, an old friend from his Army days. Directed by Jack Webb and sponsored by Fatima Cigarettes, this early Dragnet installment brings the series’ clipped procedural style to a tense robbery investigation.
