Regular listeners will know that it's been my long-held ambition to have Noel Thom feature on the Reel Riders podcast. I first met Noel through various collaborations with The Trail and Adventure Motorbike Podcast, which until recently Noel was co-hosting. These days we mainly interact via the Adventure Motorcycle Film Festival, as Noel is a member of our large judging panel.

You can follow Noel on Instagram, and if brave enough, maybe even check out his YouTube channel.

In this episode, references were made to the following:

• Ed March
• Beau Miles

Tickets are now on sale for the Adventure Motorcycle Film Festival 2027, which will take place on the 26th and 27th February 2027. The festival is a joint production of the Reel Riders podcast and The Trail and Adventure Motorbike Podcast. To find out more, go to: www.advmotofilmfest.com.

We are still accepting film submissions: the deadline is 30th October 2026. Submit your film/films at the festival's page on FilmFreeway:
