Justice is defined as "getting what you deserve according to the law." The religious leaders, in an illegal trial, condemned Jesus to death. The religious leaders would get what they deserve as justice would befall them, Jesus would get what he deserved as he stepped into the place of the lamb, yet we would not get what we deserve--GRACE!
