"An action movie in book form" – Jyllands-Posten

THE WORLD SAW THE ROYAL SHIP DANNEBROG EXPLODE.

THE WORLD BELIEVES ISLAMISTS ARE BEHIND IT.

THE WORLD IS WRONG.

In Rome, Massimo Ricci leads Søren Storm through the rain up to the rooftop house where Storm's old boss from the IAEA lives. There are lights in the windows, but no one answers when they ring the bell.

Bjarne's key fits a safe-deposit box, and inside lies a videotape in a format no one has used in forty years, and a worn book about The Church, Robert Sinclair's world-spanning sect. Kurt has to get through it – and afterward shares a few bottles in the bank's wine room with a drinking companion he never expected to meet.

And in Security Bunker East, Prime Minister Lene Bisgaard has to sit with the entire national staff and watch the underwater robots' images of the security room from outside – knowing full well that it is empty.
