It was a joy to read this story of three British Asian women who must navigate difficult relationships, cultural friction, and happy discoveries that will change their lives forever. Collings' wry sense of humour and empathy made Love & Other Dramas all the more satisfying to read.
What a stunning novel with such visceral writing and emotions. I really felt like I knew the three women - I felt all their highs and lows and was sad when it came to an end. A brilliant debut!

Love & Other Dramas is a testament to the power of community and (unsurprisingly) love, as well as the importance of embracing messiness before you can arrive at true happiness. To say that I laughed and cried and was overwhelmed by this delight of a book might sound clichéd but is the absolute truth.

Love & Other Dramas is a beautifully written, warm and insightful novel about three women, each dealing with the secrets of their past and the challenges of their present. I loved each of these wonderful, flawed characters and was hugely captivated by the twists and turns of their lives. This story is fresh, frank and funny. I loved it.
I read this book so fast, and was able to relate so hard to a lot of the situations, in terms of understanding the difficulties all three women faced, as they finally became open to finding their true selves... It was a truly wonderful read.
I can't remember the last time I was rooting so hard for characters in a book to make it. Women everywhere will recognise themselves in the pages and at the same time see the world from another perspective. Love & Other Dramas is the kind of novel that captures your heart from the first to the last page. I am in love with this book!
A superb, gripping story of family and friendship, with characters who jump off the page and will have you rooting for them all the way. I couldn't put it down.
A warm and insightful story about the expectations placed on women, and the struggle to create a life of one's own. I loved the explorations of loss, love, and friendship in this novel about three women who push past betrayals and fear to become the people they were meant to be.
