When the remote lunar research base Aethel transmits a cryptic distress beacon, scientist Dr. Rhys Holloway leads a maintenance and security team on a high-stakes emergency mission, believing they are simply meant to repair the base's sophisticated AI system, Genesis, which had previously terraformed a flourishing interstellar world inside the moon's crater.
