Samantha Bennett, a career-driven journalist in her early 30s, finds herself in a familiar yet distant place—her childhood hometown of Mapletown. Assigned by her editor to cover the restoration of an old Christmas carousel for the town's Christmas Festival, Samantha reluctantly leaves the bustling streets of New York City for the nostalgic charm of the small town she hasn’t visited in over a decade.
