Heart Beats is poetry for life. Heart Beats is poetry about love, life, children, and God. The life of David Meier, the Heart Beats of David Meier, is felt throughout this book of poetry.- The simple “every other line rhymes” poetry style makes for easy reading. Each poem is non-abstract, which allows the meaning of each to easily flow from the pages of the book to the heart and mind of the reader.- It is the goal of this book to stimulate your mind to think and your heart to feel some of what David thinks and feels and, if at all possible, bring you to live more and to love more. A loftier goal is to have you ponder God, his place in your life, and your place in his purpose.©2017 David Meier (P)2026 David Meier
