Carrie Caine is stressed. Not only is she the new graduate student advisor to the student activities committee at Abraxus Tasker College, but she has some serious studying to do. It's not easy to balance teaching, advising, and attending committee meetings, but she's serious about her career. At ATC, you have to be.
But now, she's tasked with handling the emcee of the college's comedy festival: a standup comic named Jake Nilsen. She's a buttoned-up professor—and certainly not a grown man's babysitter—but Jake is more than willing to help her relax. First, he'll make her smile, and then well, Jake's willing to find out how to get Carrie to let her hair down.
