“It is my dream to ride on the back of a motorcycle driven by a cool artist girl,” I said.
“Then you are living your dream,” she said.
When I first saw King-Empress Cacia at Yoga in the Park, I didn’t just want to meet her—I wanted to be her human yoga mat. With her electric teal hair, mismatched thigh-high socks, tie-dyed shorts, and her Asian baddie vibes that radiate cool confidence, Cacia Zoo is more than an artist, actress, and comedian; she’s a whirlwind of energy and passion.
As it turns out, her life extends far beyond art; she is just as comfortable playing in the dark as she is under the tropical sun. What follows is a raw, gonzo-style account of a day in the jungles of Thailand serving as Cacia’s photographer, sherpa, and devotee.
From the misty Montha Waterfall to the secluded jungle trails, I found myself willingly yielding to her vivacious, domineering will. What began as admiration soon transformed into something far more intense and consuming—a physical and psychological test of my limits, devotion, and identity.
This is a visceral journey into the transcendent beauty of submitting to worthy power and the strange clarity found at the edge of discomfort. Word Count: 1,750 words.
Includes two photographs and one pen-drawn sketch by Cacia.
