Growing up, I knew three things for certain: I had the best parents in the world; I'd do anything to win Olympic gold; and Michael Thompson was my best friend. At sixteen, he broke my heart.

Since then, figure skating has been my salvation. But Michael Thompson? He's someone I want nothing to do with. Too bad we both attend Golden Bay University. I'm an Olympian figure skater, and he's the future center of New York's NHL team, the Phantoms.

Avoiding him should be easy—except Michael keeps showing up everywhere I go, determined to figure out what ruined our friendship. He might be the only person I've ever loved, but there's no way I'm letting him back in.
