Years later, Alysee learns that her father has left her a former luxury hotel on the German-Polish border. She desperately hopes that this forgotten place will finally reveal something about her family. Her wish comes true—in the cruellest way imaginable. In the hotel's basement, her father had been conducting illegal sleep experiments, obsessed with the idea of recording dreams like a film.
