"Ein Straußenhandel" berichtet von einem gewitzten Gauner-Duo, welches während einer Schifffahrt auf amüsantem Weg einen kleinen Nebenverdienst erzielt.

In "Paycrafts Kur" nervt ein von Komplexen zerfressenes Individuum ein Londoner Club-Mitglied so lange bis er von diesem ein altes Rezept seiner Urgroßmutter als Lösung seiner Probleme dargeboten bekommt - die erhoffte Wirkung stellt sich alsbald auch ein, allerdings so ganz anders als erwünscht. "Im Tal der Spinnen" erzählt die Geschichte dreier Verfolger einer Dirne, die auf ihrer Jagd von einer Art mutierten Riesenspinnen-Armada angegriffen werden.
