Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about her book The Tattooist of Auschwitz is Australian writer Heather Morris. Whilst working as a social work administrator, Heather Morris studied and wrote screenplays. After meeting an elderly man called Lale Sokolov, Heather used his story as inspiration for a screenplay, which has now been published as a novel, The Tattooist of Auschwitz. Heather Morris talks to us about her book, the man who inspired it and what we can expect from her next.

Joining us in the Audible studios to talk about his latest book No Spin: My Autobiography is Australian former international cricketer Shane Warne. Widely regarded as one of the greatest bowlers in the history of cricket, Shane Warne has had an astonishing career in the game, playing his first Test match in 1992 and retiring in 2013. The lead wicket taker in Test cricket until 2007 and named twice as a Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World, Warne has now published his biography, No Spin. Shane Warne talks to us about how he fell into cricket by accident, the lack of cricket superstars today and his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley.

Robin Morgan welcomes back into the studio the brilliant Lindsey Davis. She's a historical novelist, the author of the historical crime series Falco and Flavia Albia. She was last in the studio to talk about book four of her Flavia Albia series and has made a return to talk about book five, The Third Nero.

Joining us at Audible Studios is the author of the Sunday Times best-selling debut novel The Trouble with Goats and Sheep, Joanna Cannon. She has recently released Breaking and Mending, a memoir of her life as a junior doctor. Cannon walks us through the wards, from attending her first postmortem to sitting beside a patient as they passed away. The small acts of kindness and connection that intersperse hospital life taught Cannon that the heartbeat is not the only essential part of a human being - emotional care and mental health are also critical.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Kerry Daynes, an English forensic psychologist and consultant who has worked as an expert witness and within the family law courts as well as opening her own private practices. Daynes has released her new book, The Dark Side of the Mind: True Stories from My Life as a Forensic Psychologist. Kerry Dayes has worked in maximum security prisons and secure hospitals, working alongside some of the most complex and challenging criminals and victims of crime.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Anne Griffin, debut author of the next great Irish novel, When All Is Said. Griffin’s novel depicts an Irish farmer who orders five drinks over the course of one night to toast each of the five most important people in his life. His life is laid bare, in its loves and feuds, regrets and triumphs, all through the five people who have left him behind. We spoke about her inspiration for the book, her literary career so far and what her plans are for the future.

Angela tells us how she came up for the idea, a bit about her protagonist, Jenna, and the importance of her fanbase. On My Life: ‘When a pregnant woman is imprisoned on suspicion of murder, she must fight to prove her innocence from behind bars or her baby may be given away to whoever framed her...’

Joining us at Audible Studios is Alex Michaelides, a Hollywood screenwriter, who has released his debut thriller The Silent Patient. We spoke about his novel in which a devoted and loving wife suddenly shoots her husband five times, and never speaks another word. We also spoke about his university studies, how they have influenced his writing, his amazing career so far, and his upcoming plans.

Markus Zusak visits Audible to discuss his latest novel, the much-awaited Bridge of Clay, 13 years after his last book published. Hugh Bonneville is a BAFTA, Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor across both stage and screen, most recognised for his role as Robert Crawley in the ITV drama Downton Abbey and blockbusters such as Paddington and Notting Hill. Bonneville has narrated the audiobook of Peter James’ thriller Absolute Proof.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book, Breaking News, is British journalist, former editor in chief of the Guardian and Principal of Lady Margaret Hall in Oxford Alan Rusbridger. Spending most of his life as a journalist and 20 years as editor of the Guardian, Alan Rusbridger has been responsible for the paper’s change from broadsheet to Berliner, for its innovation into digital and for breaking some of the most significant news stories of our time.
