There is not much information available about Tales of the Diamond K, despite extensive research done both on the internet and in the newspaper logs. It was a 15 minute syndicated show aimed at a juvenile audience and appeared to have been aired on a daily basis, during the mid 50's. Blair of the Mounties is a syndicated 15-minute radio series about the adventures of Sergeant James Blair of the North-West Mounted Police. A total of 39 episodes of this Northern genre series were produced. The show was heard on radio stations for more than twenty years. Gale later served as President of the Ad Council. Intending to promote breakfast cereal Wheaties, Gale developed the character of Jack Armstrong as a fictitious "everyboy" whom listeners would emulate: If Jack ate Wheaties, boys across the nation would, too.
