Those who fight depression with a bottle of gin or a needle in the arm are losing the fight. They're currently killing themselves slowly, just like depression wants them to. Every antidepressant has a possible side effect of making your depression worse.

In a selfie-driven society that depends on the current culture to determine norms and wellness, this book returns the believer to the foundation of the Christian faith—the Bible and the power of God to do what seems impossible. In this book is a message of hope that is desperately needed in the lives of individuals during these trying times. Our mental and emotional health are important to God, and it should be important to everyone within the kingdom of God.

From my observations, there have been great strides in Christian thinking regarding seeking help for physical health problems. However, this does not seem to be the case when it comes to mental health issues. In this audiobook, I address this stigma that exists among Christians when it comes to depression. My intention is to dispel myths about depression and to get people to understand that it is a condition to which we are all vulnerable. I also hope to increase people's understanding of God's will that we have healthy minds as well as healthy bodies.
