One of Shakespeare’s most popular plays is here performed by The Marlowe Society with Anthony Jacobs, Corin Redgrave, Paul Scofield and many other very fine actors. The story itself follows on from that of Shakespeare’s Richard II (also available in this series) and begins with Hotspur's battle at Homildon against the Douglas late in 1402 and ends with the defeat of the rebels at Shrewsbury in the middle of 1403.

Während der Freak weiter auf der Flucht ist, taucht erneut eine Leiche mit seltsamen Einstichwunden am Rücken auf. Wests OP ist erfolgreich verlaufen und der Chip abgeschirmt - er ist wieder einsatzbereit. Der mysteriöse Überfall auf das Chemiewerk lässt in ihm einen Verdacht aufkeimen: Was wenn Godspeed doch nicht ausgeschaltet worden ist? Er will das Glashaus-Team wieder zusammen trommeln. Am Globe trifft Richards Armee auf die Gesetzlosen und ein erbitterter Kampf bricht aus. Mit letzter Kraft retten sich Julia und ihr treuer Gefolgsmann Othello aus dem Wald von Arden und beschließen, sich dem Kampf gegen Richards Truppen anzuschließen. Der König ist zunehmend besessen von Machtphantasien. Lady Macbeth, die immer noch gefangen gehalten wird, schmiedet derweil fieberhaft neue Pläne.

In Harmony Bay verbreiten sich langsam Gerüchte. Trotz der Versuche des Bürgermeisters, die Todesfälle zu vertuschen, bauen einige Bewohner ihre Betten ab - aus Angst, es könnte etwas Böses unter ihnen lauern. Obwohl Cody endlich herausfindet, wo sich der Russe versteckt hält, kommt er der Lösung der seltsamen Morde keinen Schritt näher. Kann der Mitschnitt auf den VHS-Kassetten die Ermittler weiterbringen? Was verbirgt der Bürgermeister? Und warum ist Cody überhaupt als Sheriff eingestellt worden? Nichts scheint mehr Sinn zu machen.
