What if I told you that heroes lived among us, that a US government agency had grown these super powered children in labs, raising them to be super soldiers? What if the technology got out? You would probably would tell me that I was crazy, or that I was some type of conspiracy theorist, that there was no way that a person could turn themselves invisible, or teleport, or morph into a terrible monster. Exposing a terrible government program to the masses? Comes with the territory. One more mutant facility to destroy and we can set our sights on bigger things and faraway places. But it isn't going to be that easy, and there are other factors at play, risks we're going to have to take if we want to expose the truth. I just hope I'm ready to live up to the hype when the time comes.

Half of America hates me, and the other half wants me dead. Regardless, I've decided to turn a new leaf. Good guy Writer Gideon? Something like that. But with great power comes great responsibility, and with great power and killer women all around me.... Well, I don't really know a quote for that one. Point is: the Cherry Blossom Girls are changing things up. We're dressed to kill, pumped and primed, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.

Astra has returned to Chicago and the everyday life of a cape: getting kittens out of trees, training, aiding the city's emergency first-responders, training, doing public relations events, training, and the occasional superhero v. supervillain fight that threatens to level neighborhoods or at least set them on fire. Then Astra takes a hard hit during a fight and very briefly finds herself somewhere else, somewhere she's only been before in dreams and in the company of Kitsune, a shape-shifting trickster fox. 

Amelia is back in the present. However, her trip to the past cost her dearly. She's left the team and struck out on her own, determined not to make the mistakes of the past. But the past isn't done with her yet. A new threat has emerged. One that sells dangerous technology to the highest bidder...and they have their gaze set on Arsenal.
