Rudolf Eisler stellte schon vor über 100 Jahren fest: "Die organisierten Massen haben zu allen Zeiten eine wichtige Rolle im Völkerleben gespielt, niemals aber in solchem Maße wie heute. Eine Masse von Intellektuellen ist nicht besser als eine Masse von Proletariern. Eine Masse ist immer nur Gefühlen und einfachen Parolen zugänglich, niemals der Logik.

Franz Kafka wurde 1883 in Prag geboren. Er starb 1924 in Klosterneuburg, Österreich. Die Erzählung "Die Verwandlung" (1912) zählt zu den bekanntesten Werken Kafkas und ist ein Meisterstück symbolisch-parabelhafter Erzählkunst. Der Autor vereint meisterhaft anschauliche Sprache mit spannender Handlung und bitter-süßer Ironie.
