Das nächste Date von Sophie und Jan steht an. Dieses Mal kommen die beiden Anti-Matches einer ungebetenen Unterbrechung jedoch zuvor und überrumpeln den schlecht gelaunten Ludwig in seiner Wohnung. Sophies Busenfreund zeigt sich wenig erfreut über den Überraschungsbesuch. Um Jan und Sophie loszuwerden, lockt er die Störenfriede in das Gästezimmer seines Appartements und schließt die beiden dort für eine Nacht ein.

Sophie ist wieder aufgetaucht und ist überhaupt nicht böse auf Jan - im Gegensatz zu Ludwig, der Unehrlichkeit hasst. Doch Sophie lässt sich von ihrem besten Freund nicht reinreden und will sogar bei der nächsten Sendung dabei sein, um über die Anti-Match-Dates zu sprechen. Jan findet es super, dass Sophie so entspannt mit seinem "Geheimnis" umgeht und freut sich, dass sie mit ihm ins Studio kommen will.

Endlich! Ludwig hat seinen Stolz überwunden und sich bei Sophie entschuldigt. Die beiden sind wieder ein Herz und eine Seele. Auch mit Jan versteht sich Sophie immer besser und sie treffen sich zum Shopping in einer angesagten Berliner Mall. Jan ist überrascht, dass die sonst so verkopfte Chemikerin beim Shoppen einfach ihren Impulsen nachgibt. Er fühlt sich zunehmend von Sophie angezogen, hat aber keinen Schimmer, wie er ihr näher kommen kann.

Jan und Sophie haben ihr erstes Date. Doch der Funke, den der charmante Radiomoderator sich erhofft hat, um die Anti-Matching-These zu widerlegen, will bei der rationalen Chemikerin nicht überspringen. Die beiden sind so grundverschieden, wie der Matching-Algorithmus es vorausgesagt hat: Statt tiefe Augenblicke auszutauschen, liefern sie sich heftige Wortgefechte.

Obwohl Jan eigentlich keinen Bock mehr hat, trifft er Sophie noch einmal. Bei diesem Date ist alles anders: Sophies bester Freund Ludwig hat sich einfach mit eingeladen. Jan und Ludwig verstehen sich von Anfang an super - was Sophie wenig begeistert, Jan aber davon überzeugt, am Ball zu bleiben. So kommt es zum dritten Date - doch auch dieses Mal werden die beiden Anti-Matches gestört.

Jan ist zutiefst verletzt - Sophie hat ihre Affäre mit Mark vor ihm verheimlicht! Er zieht sich zurück, da steht eines Abends Katinka bei ihm vor der Tür: Wie soll das mit der Radioshow jetzt weitergehen? Obwohl Jan eigentlich lieber mit sich alleine wäre, lässt er seine Redakteurin rein... In der Zwischenzeit taucht Mark wie immer unangemeldet bei Sophie auf - doch die ist mit ihrem Kopf gerade ganz woanders.
