How We Use Love

When we were growing up in our families, it was always interesting to me see how each family member panned out. What was their gift? Who connected more with who? What was our role with one another? For some of us it was a way of trying to be seen. Did we even feel seen by our family? Did we all try to take lead mic and say look at me in some way? Or did you have a family that made sure everyone felt loved the same? No favorites, all in all...let’s talk about it.

I’ve been fortunate enough to make to 40 years in this life being man and it has been an interesting yet challenging journey. I’ve had many views change throughout my life, how I saw life at 20 is completely a 180 view at 40. Overtime, things stop mattering to me and I was able to value life a bit more that better suited my mental. I’d like to tell you a little about that journey in this topic.

I believe love can mean many things for us, but how we use it can shape-shift as time progresses. We find ourselves being so caught up in trying to be loved at some point that we don’t even realize that we are love. We can give it away in abundance daily, yet live in fear that we won’t ever find it from someone else. What did you use love for? What powers did you find in your life for it?
