yesterday, my queen and i, took a trip to da lu’ (honolulu, hawaii) to see my daughters. it was more than fun and meant more to me having been homebound for the last eight months of my life to be able to travel finally and enjoy family as healthy. this was my first trip off the island in that long and it was definitely one for the memory books! 

listen in on how the island hopping day trip was and a few words for us parents who have older kids, letting them go and embracing having a life of our own, with a solid support group in and around you; life the way it is supposed to be!
