In this episode, I’m talking about why we do not need to overcomplicate a GLP-1 weight loss journey. After decades of dieting, many of us feel like we should be tracking calories, counting carbs, watching macros, following strict food rules, and doing everything “perfectly.” But for me, one of the biggest lessons was learning to dumb it down.
After losing 120 pounds, I found that simplifying the process made it easier to stay consistent. Instead of trying to track everything, I focused on the basics that mattered most for me: protein, water, strength training, taking my shot on a consistent schedule, prioritizing sleep, planning meals, repeating easy meals, keeping snacks accessible, cleaning out my closet along the way, and choosing just a few supplements that made sense for me.
This episode is not medical advice. I’m sharing my personal experience and what helped me make my GLP-1 journey feel more realistic, manageable, and sustainable.
If you are on Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro, or another GLP-1 medication and you feel overwhelmed by all the advice out there, this conversation is your reminder that simple can still work.
