My daughter recently told me she was nervous about starting 8th grade because she doesn’t know her teachers very well.My first thought? “Well… yeah. That’s every year!” 😂
But the more I thought about it, the more I realized she might be onto something.
Because how often do we get nervous simply because we don’t know what’s coming?
A new job. A new relationship. A new responsibility. A difficult decision. A completely new season of life.
We don’t know how it’s going to turn out. And sometimes, we mistake that uncertainty for a reason to be afraid.
In this episode of Drive Time with Matt, we talk about what happens when we’re standing at the beginning of something unfamiliar—and why you don’t have to know everything before you take the next step.
You don’t know if the new teacher will be your favorite.
