概要
Psalm 119:105 says "thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." But what does that actually mean? John 1 says the Word was God, and in Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. Jesus IS the word. He IS the lamp. He IS the light. You can carry a lamp with no gas in it — it's useless. What makes the lamp illuminate is Jesus being in it.TIMESTAMPS0:00 - Thy word is a lamp unto my feet0:18 - John 1 — in him was life, that life was the light0:35 - The vision: two paths, one dark, one lit step by step0:52 - If you're following yourself, you can't see where you're going1:15 - You can't see because you're not light1:23 - The lamp with no gas — Jesus is the lamp and the light1:43 - You can't lead yourself to where God is taking you1:50 - Go to a land I will show you — Abraham followed before seeing2:06 - Good question, great question, amazing question2:25 - Direction is the way someone takes when they know their destinationDo you feel like you're on the dark path or the lit one right now?
