About Yamarie Negron: Yamarie Negron is a trauma-informed transition and transformation coach who specializes in identity-level healing. After beginning her career in communications and serving as a director of content marketing at a startup, Yamarie felt called back to her first passion—understanding human behavior and psychology. Her own experience navigating divorce, health challenges, and deep personal transformation led her to develop a unique framework called the Transformation Tree, which integrates biology, identity, nervous system regulation, and behavior change. Today, she helps high-functioning women move from survival strategies to self-led living, expanding their capacity for resilience, relational health, and aligned success. In this episode, Lisa and Yamarie Negron discuss:Yamarie’s pivot from corporate marketing to trauma-informed coachingThe difference between behavior change and identity-level transformationAwareness, acceptance, and alignment as non-linear phases of healingBoundaries, relational health, and expanding nervous system resilienceRedefining success beyond achievement and external validationKey Takeaways: Healing is not a destination; it is a continuous journey back to wholeness. As Yamarie explains, transformation unfolds through ongoing awareness, acceptance, and alignment, not a single breakthrough moment. Many high achievers focus on changing behaviors without addressing the deeper identity and biological roots that fuel them. Lasting transformation requires working with the nervous system, not against it.Survival strategies like fixing, forcing, or operating from fear, obligation, guilt, and shame may have once kept us safe. But over time, they quietly erode capacity and limit relational and personal growth.Capacity is not just about time management. It’s about nervous system regulation, boundaries, and self-honoring choices. Expanding capacity requires both internal awareness and practical skill-building.True success evolves. For Yamarie, success is no longer defined by achievement or income alone, but by self-preservation, health, alignment, and honoring her well-being along the path. “That's what acceptance is really about, is acknowledging the things that you can and cannot influence, impact, and change.” - Yamarie NegronConnect with Yamarie Negron:Website: https://www.yamarienegron.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/yamarienegron/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/namastenslay/ Transformation Tree Framework: Why Doing The Inner Work Isn't Changing Results - https://www.yamarienegron.com/why-inner-work-isnt-working-transformation-tree Connect with Lisa Thee:Website: https://lisathee.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lisathee/ Facebook: https://web.facebook.com/lisa.thee.polvi Twitter: https://twitter.com/lisa_thee Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lisatheepolvi/ Lisa’s BOOK: Go!: Reboot Your Career in 90 DaysShow notes by Podcastologist: Francine PobleteAudio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions.
