Chaos has a way of shrinking God in our minds. Problems stack up, headlines keep coming, and before we know it, we’re living like our stress is in charge. We want the opposite: a clear, steady view of God that makes the rest of life easier to face, not because storms disappear, but because fear stops driving.

We walk through Yahweh’s self-revelation in Exodus 3, where God meets Moses at the burning bush and declares, “I Am Who I Am.” That name is not a label; it’s a statement of reality: God is eternally present, unmatched, and above every rival. From there we talk about God’s sovereignty in plain language: God is in control. Not as a cold doctrine, but as comfort for people who are tired of trying to control everything themselves.

Then we get practical. We share three evidences of God’s sovereign care: his preservation as the one who holds creation together, his cooperation as the God who walks with us through countless daily decisions, and his purpose as the one who wastes nothing. Romans 8 becomes our anchor for peace in a chaotic world: God works all things for good, God is for us through Jesus, and nothing can separate us from his love. We also wrestle with the “last 10%” the part we keep gripping even when we say we trust God.
