This week we continue in chapter 8 of our study in "The Gospel According to Luke" looking at verses 26-39.
The challenge of the week is: “I need to work on my mental health, how can I do this biblically?”

1. Clarify the Question: What Do You Mean by “Mental Health”?
2. Distinguish the Brain (Material) From the Mind (Immaterial)
3. Identify What’s Actually Going On Inside You
4. Introduce the Biblical Solution: Mind Renewal (Romans 12:2)
5. How Do You Actually Renew Your Mind? (The Practical Steps)
- Saturate yourself in Scripture
- Identify and repent of unbiblical thought patterns
- Interpret your feelings biblically
- Submit your thoughts to Christ
- Engage in obedience, not just introspection
- Involve the body of Christ
- Pray specifically for inner transformation
“Stop thinking of your struggle as a mental-health problem and begin seeing it as a mind-renewal issue. The way to grow is by allowing God’s truth to reshape your thoughts, desires, and responses.”
