(Can you see me? / Can you hear me?)

    2026/07/11

    🎙️ Episode 55 – Family Words Practice!

Let’s practice the family vocabulary from Episode 54!

In this episode, you’ll practice how to introduce your own family and how to politely talk about someone else’s family in Japanese.

    We’ll do two rounds:
    ✨ Round 1 – Repeat after me
    ✨ Round 2 – Answer before I do!

    Today’s vocabulary:

    • あに (ani) = my older brother
    • おにいさん (onii-san) = someone else’s older brother
    • あね (ane) = my older sister
    • うえのこ (ue no ko) = oldest child
    • したのこ (shita no ko) = youngest child

💡 One of the most common mistakes I hear from my students on italki is mixing up words like musume and musume-san. After today’s practice, you’ll sound much more natural!
