After declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft, former Ole Miss safety Wydett Williams Jr. joins the Call The Huddle podcast to talk his career so far along with his offseason process. Following two years playing Division 2 football as a first-time safety, Williams made the leap to Louisiana-Monroe in 2024 before joining the Ole Miss Rebels during Summer of 2025.
Through one campaign with the Rebels (2025) Williams put up the third most total tackles on his team (73) while adding a team-high three interceptions, and proved himself at the highest levels. The 6-foot-2, 205 pound defender said he's taken lessons from every step along his journey, and it's brought him closer to his faith as well.
