Tonight’s WWE Raw gave us an absolutely incredible main event as Penta took on his brother Rey Fenix in the finals of the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament. These two brothers put everything on the line, and the match delivered some wild moments, huge near falls and an emotional finish. Penta ultimately hit the Mexican Destroyer to defeat Fenix and earn his shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. And now we know exactly who Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against in Mexico City. Penta will challenge Roman on September 14 when Raw returns to Mexico, setting up a matchup that could be absolutely massive. The post-match confrontation between Penta and Roman was the perfect way to close out the night. AEW All In 2026 delivered a night full of huge moments, surprises, title changes, and plenty to argue about. In this honest review, I break down the entire show from Wembley Stadium and give my thoughts on what worked, what didn't, and whether AEW actually delivered on its biggest event of the year. We’re talking about Will Ospreay finally defeating Kenny Omega to become AEW World Champion, Mercedes Moné winning the AEW Women’s World Championship from Willow Nightingale, Darby Allin capturing the TNT Championship from Kevin Knight in Falls Count Anywhere, Kazuchika Okada winning back the International Championship, and Jon Moxley retaining the Continental Championship against Nigel McGuinness. WWE JUST FORGETS THEIR OWN STORIES?! That’s one of my biggest hot takes coming out of SmackDown! The Danhausen, The Miz, and Kit Wilson storyline was a huge part of what was happening, and then suddenly… it was just gone. No explanation, no payoff, nothing. I hated the zombie storyline, but that doesn’t mean WWE can simply pretend it never happened. Once you establish something on television, especially something involving multiple characters, you need to eventually close the loop. This is another example of WWE seemingly dropping a story and moving on like it never happened. WWE SmackDown August 28, 2026 was awful. This is my full WWE SmackDown review, and honestly, I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with an episode of SmackDown. Tonight's show had plenty of big names and storylines, including Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton continuing their heated feud, CM Punk and Kevin Owens dealing with the fallout from last week's chaos, and a Triple Threat involving Kevin Owens, GUNTHER and Finn Bálor. But for me, the show completely failed to deliver. The Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton segment especially left me frustrated. With the two under a no-contact stipulation before their upcoming match, the confrontation built toward something that never really paid off. Then the main event ended in more interference and another non-finish, with Sami Zayn getting involved and CM Punk appearing afterward. AEW All In is almost here, but did Dynamite actually do enough to get us excited? The final Dynamite before Wembley had some good moments, including Jon Moxley vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Nigel McGuinness vs. Kyle O'Reilly, Swerve Strickland vs. Jack Perry, and more — but for me, this just didn't feel like the go-home show AEW needed. There’s been plenty of negativity surrounding WWE lately, so today I want to do something a little different: let’s talk about what WWE is actually getting RIGHT. I’m not saying everything is perfect, and there are still plenty of issues worth criticizing. But there have been some genuinely positive creative decisions lately that deserve to be acknowledged. From the evolving Bloodline story and Sami Zayn to Kevin Owens and CM Punk, WWE’s main-event picture has started to feel a lot more interesting. Cody Rhodes being out of the immediate championship chase has opened up room for other stories, while LA Knight getting more attention in the main-event scene is another move I think deserves credit. Solo Sikoa’s babyface direction has also been surprisingly interesting, and there are plenty of smaller creative changes that have made WWE feel more unpredictable. And then there’s the women’s division, where the championship finally has an actual storyline, Fatal Influence winning the belts, and other changes that show WWE experimenting with different directions. Even Danhausen being pulled back somewhat is something worth discussing. So instead of focusing on everything WWE is doing wrong, let’s take a moment to appreciate the things that are working. Royce Keys and OTM came out of NOWHERE, and naturally, some fans are already asking, “Who are these hooligans?!” 😂 But honestly… does it matter that we don't know them yet? Think about it: nobody knew who The Nexus was when they first showed up. Nobody knew who The Shield was either. Every major group has to start somewhere, and sometimes the most exciting thing is watching a group of wrestlers build their identity right in front of us. So I'm not looking at Royce Keys and OTM and saying, “This is terrible because nobody knows who they are.” I'm saying let's see what happens! Maybe this becomes something huge. Maybe it doesn't.
