• Saul’s Musicians vs. David’s Musicians | E182
    2025/10/27

You know, both Saul and David were kings of Israel, and both surrounded themselves with musicians. But their motives, their culture, and the fruit of their music were completely different. And I believe this is a prophetic word for musicians and worshipers today.

Saul’s musicians played to manage a crisis. David’s musicians played to minister to the Lord. One was about relief; the other was about revelation.

So here’s the question for us as worshiping musicians today:

    • Are we playing just to make people feel better?
    • Or are we playing to enthrone God and release His presence?
    • Are we entertainers, therapists, or are we ministers before the Lord?

Relief will always fade. But revelation transforms.

  • Is the Word Worship Correct? | Ep 180
    2025/09/15

    Is the Word Worship Correct?

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word Shachah means “to bow down, to prostrate, to surrender in reverence.” Abraham uses this word in Genesis 22:5 when he says, “We will go and worship.”

In the New Testament, the Greek word Proskuneo means “to bow down or kiss toward,” an intimate act of adoration. And Latreia speaks of service, devotion, and offering our lives as worship—like Romans 12:1 says, “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice.”

    Reflection & Response

    Think about this today:

    1. Has my definition of worship been too small?
    2. How can I worship through obedience and surrender this week, not just in song?
    3. How can I, as a musician, help expand others’ understanding of worship?

    Prayer & Declaration
    Let’s pray:

“Father, thank You that You are worthy of all worship. Forgive us for making worship too small. Teach us to live as true worshipers, in spirit and in truth, offering You our whole lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

    A declaration for you:

“I declare that you are rising into the fullness of worship—not limited to a song, but as a living sacrifice. Your daily walk, your music, and your obedience will carry the fragrance of heaven. You are a true worshiper in spirit and in truth.”

  • A Levitical Awakening | E179
    2025/09/11

A Levitical Awakening – Returning to the Heart of Davidic Worship

The first step of a Levitical Awakening is when we realize our assignment:

    • To minister to God first.
    • To host His presence.
    • To carry His glory.

Worship is not about performance; it’s about surrender. Levites were set apart for the Lord’s presence. And friends, so are we.

Reflection: “Am I ministering to God first, or am I trying to minister to people without Him?”
