Her live testimony helped pass Jennifers’ Law in Connecticut, the third state in America to expand its legal definition of domestic violence to include “coercive control.”

She spent 7.5 years representing herself, went to court almost 100 times, fought off a $4M lawsuit, got her case published in the Connecticut Law Journal, and even helped pass Jennifer’s Law, which expanded the legal definition of domestic violence to include coercive control.
