We are a network of women from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland with one main focus: to defend the sex-based rights of women.We are not aligned to any political party - we are women of all political persuasions and none. Our position is "Respect My Sex" - we support candidates who understand the rights and needs of women, regardless of party.WRN has around 60 geographical groups, with more than 1200 members. Our members are of all ages, sexual orientation, races, disability, employment status and socio-economic backgrounds. Some of us are parents and/or carers. We have differing religious beliefs. But, we are all committed to free speech and to putting the sex based needs of women and girls first.And we are all women - adult human females.Our groups offer a safe space to talk freely and compassionately. We provide support to one another and campaign for evidence-based solutions to stop the erasure of our sex-based rights. Join Us!     All political parties making up the Senedd in Wales were formally approached by the Women’s Rights Network in Wales to have us come and speak with them about the importance of immediately complying with the Equality Act 2010 further to legal language clarification by the UK Supreme Court on 16th April 2025.

    Only the Welsh Conservative party took up the offer, inviting WRN in Wales to speak at their 2025 conference in Llangollen, Denbighshire.

    WRN Wales launched its ongoing campaign #StepUpSenedd on Tuesday, 13th May 2025 on the steps of the Welsh Senedd; it marked the beginning of ongoing actions that will ensure all members of the Welsh Senedd will hear 51% of the population.

    Women’s Rights Network was delighted to have guest Sharron Davies to join on Zoom to explore the movement in both domestic and international sports in light of the FA decision to ban men from female football teams and World Boxing's introduction of mandatory sex testing, to determine the eligibility of male and female athletes that want to take part in its competitions.

    Sharron reveals the shocking structural capture from the very top down within international sport, particularly in the IOC, which explains why making headway in terms of fair competition, will remain a battle; but also how fighting for women’s sports at grassroot level is so important and does has a discernible impact.
