Happy Thanksgiving, dear friend. Today’s letter isn’t about a table full of food—it’s about the hearts gathered around it. Before you reach for your phone or turn on the TV, pause. Breathe. Look around the room and notice the people God placed beside you. Gratitude is not a reaction; it’s a posture of the heart. It’s choosing to see the small things—parking spaces, laughter, morning coffee—as gifts from heaven. It’s choosing to see people as blessings, not problems.

When you tell someone, “I thank God every time I remember you,” you’re not just being polite. You’re watering their spirit. Gratitude affirms who they are in God. So today, speak life. Send the text. Say the words. Look someone in the eyes and tell them, “You matter to me.”

Because love grows where gratitude is practiced.

This is not head knowledge. It is a holy experience that lifts you heals you and holds you. His love is wide enough to welcome every story long enough to outlast every failure high enough to raise you into His presence and deep enough to reach the places you hide. When this love lands on your heart you stop striving and start resting. Shame loosens its grip. Peace becomes your shelter. And the same love that covers you begins to cover others through you. Breathe it in today. Let Him love you past your limits.

Dear Strength in the Soil,

It’s trusting that the same power that raised Jesus now lives in you.

You don’t have to hold it all together. You just have to stay rooted. When you can’t fix it, He carries it. When you can’t see the way forward, His Spirit becomes the strength that holds you steady. Every storm that once shook you becomes the place your roots grow deeper.

So today, stop trying to be strong for God and start letting His strength flow through you.
