This powerful message centers on a transformative truth that can revolutionize our Christian walk: Jesus doesn't just make things a little better—He makes everything much better. Drawing heavily from the book of Hebrews, we're reminded that we have a better covenant with better promises, a better sacrifice, and a better inheritance than anything the Old Testament could offer. The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than Abel's blood, crying out for mercy and forgiveness rather than vengeance.
We're challenged to stop waiting for better days and realize that Jesus IS the better, and today is the day the Lord has made. The message confronts our tendency to focus on past mistakes, present problems, or limited resources, urging us instead to see the seeds of God's abundance and look expectantly toward the harvest. There's a profound call to mature believers to stop thinking their best days are behind them—Moses climbed a mountain at 120 with full strength, and Caleb at 85 declared 'give me my mountain.' We're invited to become more conscious of Christ in us, to walk in our new identity, and to take possession of what God has already given us. The question isn't how old we are, but how long we'll wait to take what God has already provided through His finished work on the cross.
